The Veteran's Room was designed by the dream team of Louis Comfort Tiffany, Candace Wheeler, Stanford White, and Samuel Coleman in 1881. The room includes some of the earliest, extant glass work of Tiffany that is still within its original architectural context.

The conservation of four important decorative leaded-glass panels, a stained glass screen, provision of glass tiles, and cast glass pieces for the fireplace mosaic were all part of bringing this room back to its former glory. Other work performed by Femenella included the flattening of panels, repair of broken glass, cleaning, and added structural support.
